I'm in Europe on Holiday, What's Cheap Here That I Should Bring Back?

I've noticed that retail prices in Europe are generally lower compared to counterparts in Australia even with the exchange rate factored in (thanks to "geographical isolation or whatever bollocks they call it these days), so what do you think I could get here to bring back to Australia?

Eg I bought Civ 5 on Steam since it costs 119% more in Australia compared to Europe

How do we know what you want?

    • Just tell me what you'd get and if I like it, lucky me

Antique furniture is dramatically cheaper on the continent than UK or Australia.
Similarly, lots of vintage/retro stuff you might see at a flea market.

The reversed seasons mean clothing on sale will suit our upcoming weather.
Otherwise, probably just things like different lollies/snack foods etc.

Do they still sell Winner Taco ice creams? They were a cross between a cornetto and a maxibon, and very nice. (Wikipedia suggests just in Italy and Sweden). Hard to bring home, but worth trying!

    • Won't winter clothes be costly if you get them during the winter season? But they're everywhere so that's a plus

  • Grog is really cheap at Lidl and Aldi.
    E.g. 1L of Jägermeister is around 10-15€

Cadbury chocolate in the UK is also cheaper than ours and tastes 100x better.

    • Oh yeah I've definitely been drinking a lot since it's really cheap here, too bad the cheap ones back home are like piss (looking at VB)

      • Is that you Todd Carney?

  • I hear Camper brand shoes are cheaper (being a Spanish company) and good quality shoes also.
