I have the cheapest insurance possible that will allow me to avoid the medicare levy surcharge.
I'd like to join a gym now (let's say it costs $1k a year) and am wondering if a more costly insurance policy might end up saving me money, provided the insurance has some sort of gym subsidy.
That is, I'm looking not necessarily for the cheapest policy, and not necessarily the one with the biggest gym subsidy, but rather the cheapest insurance policy once you take into account the discount I'd be getting on gym membership.
My wife might join the gym too.
you should be abl to claim $100 under your fund by going to a Dr who agrees that attending a gym would be of a "healthy or rehabilitation" benefit. Gym usually wont go beyond $100
