I am planning to trip to Europe/ UK in oct this year

travelling with a 2-year-old baby.. any suggestion which places should I go

Book everything through airline websites unless you are completely sure 3rd parties are cheaper. Forget tour packages do everything yourself.
How long are you away for? Where do you want to go. Have you been to Europe before?
My suggestion would be
AUS - LHR Via maybe Singapore - stop for the night look around Singapore for a day or 2 and then get another flight to London. It really helps break up the flight. It's a relatively short flight to Singapore.
Then London for at least 5 days (Museums, Buckingham palace etc)
Eurostar to Paris (3 days)
Rome
and maybe another city.
Then back to Australia. Again I would highly recommend stopping off in another city on the way home.
It seems a combination of Google Flights, Momondo and Hopper is a good place to start with regards to flights.
