Hi all,
I'm looking at buying a 4K TV for gaming and Netflix, now I know that there's no real need for 4k for these purposes, but hey I already have a computer easily capable of running 4K games. Anyway, the important things to me are.. It needs to be about 50", secondly weight is key the lighter the better as I'm wall mounting it, thirdly obviously response time and refresh rate (and I mean actually refresh rate not advertised refresh rate) are important and finally I want to spend around $1000. I know I can't expect something amazing for that price, but I'm just looking for the best value for money 4K TV that suits gaming.
Thanks in advance!
It used to be Sony > Panasonic > LG > Samsung > cheap/chinese brands.
But times have changed. Some of those Chinese Brands are really good. Samsung's made great improvements too.
However, when going for Input Lag rates, don't forget other aspects of the TV.
How well/accurate does it display? Is it too glossy/unviewable in a bit of sunlight? What about the User Experience?
The weight of the TV shouldn't matter as most of the units are within the same weight load.
As long as you have the TV mounted securely and correctly (and not knock it), it will be fine.
LG’s UH6550
Samsung's UN55 KS8000
