Holden Cruze 2010 CDX Manual

I'm thinking of the buying the car/model. I was wondering if anyone here has got the same model and transmission and can tell me about your experience driving this car?

Cruze had issues in the earlier models, and that was 1 of the ones that basically came straight from Korea (without local fixes).

    Wouldn't recommend it sorry

Yep - a mate of mine sells Holden and we talked about buying this model when it wan new - both the engine and gearbox were troublesome. You could tell because each year model the running gear changed - 2.0 > 1.6 > 1.4 > 1.8 now. Couldn't recommend it unless it was a steal.

Mate it's a lemon had one for a company car , spent more time in Holden getting warranty repairs then on the road, new gear box, electric windows failing, power steering failure I can go on and on

    Run away from it

Better off buying a Kia or Hyundai

  • Stay away from Holden or Ford. Corolla,Hyundai i30 or Mazda 3 are much better cars :)

Both Holden and Ford do have their good cars/models. I certainly wouldn't make a blanket statement like that on any brand

      • With the exception of the Holden Commodores VL in the late 80's (Nissan engine) and the Ford Mustang (Both the old and the new latest models)

        • VF Commodore has no equal

Ford Territory has always been a good SUV with good reliability.

And that's just current gen without needing to go back in time.

And if you think past generations of the mustang are good cars, then I must be talking to someone under 25yo. Some may look awesome (60s and 70s) but drive like shit.
