The divine menu on board will not leave you wanting and includes a selection of unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks & juices for the duration of the cruise. To see Magistic's menu, click here.

November 2009 | Trip type: Dinner Cruise

"The sun was shining, the crew were friendly and the prawns were delicious. A great way to spend 2 hours on this beautiful harbour with good commentary, too."

December 2009 | Trip type: Lunch Cruise

"My family and I (four of us) had a very memorable luncheon cruise with you. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, and things ran very smoothly. The food was excellent in taste, variety and presentation, and your method of "delivery" ensured a fast and easy access to our lunch for all guests.

What is the deal with current Brisbane scoopon (not yet active), $49 cruise to Straddy, normally $113 = %57 discount.

When I visit the Tallship website it clearly states the normal price is $88 inclusive of the lunch = 44% discount.

It appears the RRP is at best inflated and inaccurate, but more so misleading. Or perhaps there is $25 bar tab included that I've missed? ;)

Went on this cruise last Saturday night using scoopon's last offer from months ago..

The buffet dinner is exactly that - there's a fair bit of variety with asian noodles, a curry, seafood.. i think you can find the menu on their website. The quality of the food isn't too bad considering its a buffet prepared before the ship departs, the problem is however from the start there is a huge line up to get at both the meal and the desserts which really kills the meal.

The atmosphere is pretty bad with a bad smell on entry and cramped tables, one bar. We were given our own table but it was close to the food and had people lining up next to it for most of the night. It's definately not a place to take a date.. some of the guests on board were pretty agricultural..

I guess what saved the trip for us was the alcohol. Theres a choice of 4 wines from memory and they were happy to give my party of four two bottles at a time which we then took upstairs and grabbed a table outside. There was no food allowed out there but we ended up spending most of the night sipping wine and sneaking food while cruising around the harbour.. worth the money in the end if your looking for a booze boat and not looking for a real meal.

  • On a boat. Unlimited booze. What could possibly go wrong?
