Book Depository - quick tip

I realised going to www.bookdepository.com (.com) instead of .co.uk, can sometimes save you around 25-50c (or maybe more)!!! I know right, a breakthrough in savings :D

I noticed alot of people on here refer people to the .co.uk domain extension, but after doing a check on some of the books i had already bought, I could have saved some silver coins! Just a tip.

Quick Info: BookDespository is one of the best (if not the best) online book store which sells cheap books with FREE shipping worldwide (AUD currency auto detected and selected on visit) - it generally beats Borders, A&R, Dymocks etc. by a large margin, so please don't get ripped off and stick with BD if you haven't already!

also thanks to ggkfc for pointing out www.booko.com.au - basically searches all online book stores for cheapest price including shipping price, very useful. i know most of you probably know about it, and it's been mentioned here and there, but if you didn't already, this could be useful.

    Yeah exactly. Use Booko to compare prices and you won't need to worry about getting ripped off.

    I was just comparing the two options, but the .com site doesn't seem to offer anywhere to input the discount code or coupon so it ends up dearer for me.
    ie.

    .co.uk
    AUD$39.80
    less AUD$3.98
    =AUD$35.82

    .com
    AUD$39.42

      OK, I've worked it out. It seems you only get a coupon box if you click through from the email that offers you a coupon. The coupon box does not come up if you click through from google, or just type out their email address into your browser.

      .com is now cheaper!

      AUD$39.42
      less AUD$3.94
      =AUD$35.48

      Works out to be a difference of 34c! LOL. Woot!

    The savings are also dependent on currency markets hence can fluctuate daily!
