Hi looking for a 10" android tab main use is for:
- Reading large .jpg or .png comics
- watching 1080p videos
- some 3d games.
battery not a concern, it just needs to be as light as possible. Don't need cellular.
If there are good upcoming models in Q1 2017 (from CES?), willing to wait. ty

Lenovo tab 2 a10 70 is the lowest i would go for a 10" tab
Then either nvidia shield tab or samsung galaxy tab s2 or xiaomi mi pad 1 or 2
Then pixel c as last resort but thats way above $500 like $650+ range
I think one of the zenpad s has 4gb ram not sure though
I can personally vouch for the nvidia shield tab as long as you dont mind small ram
2gb wasnt enough for my needs as i like having easy access to certain constantly running background things and like to just flood my tablet with cool apps haha lol
Would crash when i stress tested it and tried for example loading 30+ tabs etc haha lol which is i know a bit on the crazy side
Sony Xperia Z4 tablet they are pricey but you can pick a slightly used one up on eBay to suit your budget.
If you're into comics or anime then AMOLED is the only way to go. Samsung tab is amazing.
