One Way: Gold Coast to Amritsar, North India with Flyscoot - $236.20 + $10 Debit Fee (No Baggage)

200
FLYBAG10

Got back from India a fortnight ago. Tried many inputs into the flight sites and this was the cheapest I have found (16th January 2017). Gets close to the Himalayas, which could useful if planning a Northern tour and wanting to avoid Delhi. Should mention that Flyscoot can be unpredictable, had my first flight with them rescheduled/cancelled and delayed luggage.

  • One way to India with no baggage…sounds like something I should do.

Sounds about right. You'll lose weight after getting diarrhea and will need new clothes anyway.

Like getting bitten by a redback as soon as you land in Australia or blown apart when you land in Iraq (that's likely though)

Huh… Ever heard of Delhi belly? Most people get it at some point. Even Indians living in Australia, when they go back to India complain of the same - unless you are drinking and bathing in bottled water.

Your example about redbacks is ridiculous. BTW, I like your example about Iraq, which is why people don't go there. Moreover, haven't seen much deals about flights to Iraq posted on ozbargain.

        • @ms:That's cos most people don't want to end up on big bother's 'terrist' watch list. :)

        • @EightImmortals:
I thought most people don't want to be blown to smithereens

  • Can't just pac up n leave in a few days. ut great deal. What is there to do in Amritsar? are there tours from there? From research all the tours depart from Delhi for Golden Triangle.

    • I havent been there myself. Though for some reason i want to visit India. I will probably go on a tour as opposed to lone-wolfing it. As a suggestion, have tried to pick up a Lonely Planet guide? They have multiple books on various region of India and a wealth of information. Alternatively, you could probably drop down to your local library and see if they have any.
