Been searching around for a 4TB Portable Hard Drive and found this on Amazon. 26% off the regular price of $159.99 US.
Edit: As noted by cheesecactus, Black refers to the colour and not the actual drive itself.

Oh, ok. I didn't realise that.
Thanks for the link, I might end up getting that one instead.
From what I can tell, the WD internal drive is only 12mm thick and uses 'shingled' recording (SMR), unlike the Seagates that are still the faster writing 'perpendicular' (PMR).
Not sure if the USB board is permanently attached, but most 'portables' from WD are.
Is that code still valid, I assume not?
Also is the Seagate 4TB one 2.5" ?
The code is still valid but they've increased the price to about $186 now I think so it's not worth buying ATM, I think it's slightly bigger than 2.5.
Should note that the 'Black' in the name only refers to the colour. It isnt a fast WD Black drive.
is this the 2.5 or 3.5" ?
coz thats expensive for a 3.5!
says portable hdd, so its 2.5.
they also used to call the 3.5 portable, coz you could take them places, lol
portable nowadays would mean no power adapter needed. The desktop version is with power adapter.
Are you sure? This one looks chunky and usually 4tb consists of 2 x 2tb drives in the one case. But I could be wrong.
Dimensions say 10.2(L) x 3.21(H) x 5.55(W)
It's never been sold above $139.99 according to Camelx3, so don't be fooled by the RRP.
Probably better of getting the Seagate 4TB Portable with the code COMAC15 from TGG if anyone is looking for the 4TB. Local stock for $169.15 currently, so cheaper and much easier to get.
