[Meetup] Gold Coast on 17 or 18 January 2017. Some leftover OzBargain10 T-Shirts. Anyone interested?

I have around 20 T-shirts to giveaway.

I am visiting my folks on the Gold Coast in a week, and I still have some left over black OzBargain10 T-shirts of various sizes. Will anyone be interested to come and grab some T-shirts from me?

Unfortunately due to family commitment I can only do either 17 or 18 Jan (Tuesday or Wednesday). Moreover I will be staying near Mermaid Waters / Pacific Fair but can go as far as Southport. Feel free to shoot me suggestions as you might have observed that I'm no good in organising events.

          I might not have any T-shirt when I land in Coolangatta, as I am posting out the T-shirts to my parents' place first. Do you work in the airport? Otherwise I'll reserve one on the way flying out of OOL.

    If you are a government minister and you are looking to get a T-shirt, best to pay your own transport to the Gold Coast.

        there wasn't a tshirt for me because you gave them all away before the meetup even started. thats why i keep posting comments like this.

          You said "not a bargain, this is the normal price" one hour 24 minutes before the start of the first meetup, showing that you didn't even intend to come. So why are you saying that there wasn't a tshirt for you as though you were originally planning to be there?! And it was one single event where the T-shrits were given out before the starting time because I arrived 15 minutes earlier and there were already OzBargainers waiting. All our other giveaway events were started oneline rather than late or early.

          Moreover at the Town Hall event people hung around afterwards to chat for more than an hour. Did you even show up? Then why posting all those comments whenever we are giving away T-shirts, when you did not miss out on the freebies that you did not intend to get in the first place?

          the not a bargain comment was a joke like how people (mostly jv) like to post things about something not being a deal if its the normal price

          for the record I did turn up as I work just across the road. there was a bunch of awkward looking people standing around with shirts and bags. I stood right next to the guy I assume was you, who was having a conversation with some other dude about him going on a cruise. I was only there for about a minute, and then went back to work and posted the comment about it being no deal

          @terminal2k: Well. If you did turn up to the Town Hall meetup and I have missed you, then my apology. However a single comment might be seen as a joke, but a series of comments aren't funny anymore.

      Or first thing in the morning before work? No day light saving in Qld so I can just drop off some T-shirts near Mermaid Beach or Broad Beach before 8AM so you guys can grab a T-shirt before heading to work?

    Well. I am posting out 20 T-shirts to my parents' place on the Gold Coast. 6 S, 1 M, 5 L, 4 XL, 4 XXL — those are the last OzBargain10 T-shirts I've got. If there's no suggestion, I'll just bring that box of T-shirts and wait outside of Maccas in Oasis (Broadbeach) at 8AM on Tuesday 17 Jan. First come first serve & no reservation :)
