Need Opinions TV Upto Sub $1000

Hello Guys,

I am on the market for a TV sub $1000. Up to 55" due to my room size.
I researched a bit and found 4 candidates;

LG 55UH615T $995

Sony KD49X7000D $895 (I think this seems a hot deal as posted here before)

LG 49UH610T $1095 (just over 1000mark)

LG 43UH652T $995

that meets my needs;

Sub $1000
40-55"
4K
Smart features
Netflex able
HDR (if possible)
Good piture quality of course
Major Brands (LG/Sony/Samsung)

After my search I am leaning toward Sony but not sure if this is right move.

I am going to use this for toutube, video streaming (Netflex) and Aus Open :)

Any comments will be appreciated. If there is any other suggestion out of these, please do so.

  • OP did you end up buying something?

    I'm in a similar position myself at the moment (except that the Aus Open is almost over!!!). I have been reading a lot of good reviews for Hisense TV's lately.

    I don't have a big budget so I was eyeing off the 50" model such as this one for $698 at JB:

  • Your options are a entry level 4K TV or larger premium HD TV. Figure out how much 4K content you will watch over the next 2/3 years. And if probably close to zero then get the HD unit. It will handle motion better be more reliable and have better contrast.

    • Can you recommend any 4k 65" tv's ? I will be using YouTube a lot for my 4k content and online streaming services

  • If you want you tube get a android tv. Sony…
