a polyester blend …. well that was a quick let down …… even the $59 Target 1000 TPI sheets are 100% cotton.
would be nice to find 100% cotton , 1000 TPI usb fitted sheet not sets ….. and accumulating too many top sheets and pillow cases from sets, but just a fitted sheet doesn't seem to work out much cheaper.
Best to stick with either egyptian or pima cotton or even bamboo / cotton blend. 1000tc is just a marketing gimmick to get you to buy polyester sheets mixed with a little bit of crap quality cotton.

Amen to bamboo sheets. Won't go back to cotton.
No deal here. If any poor soul's gonna pay these prices for poly cotton, lets hear from 'em!
I bought these for about $35. Looks great, and the thread count is believable. Unfortunately, it is scratchy as linen, and doesn't breathe, making it sweaty. Very uncomfortable - stay far away!
They also don't even disclose the cotton/poly percentages which is warning red flag: "Material. Cotton Blend"
Personally I prefer lower thread counts as possible, ie cheap but soft cotton sets. As Make it so said, the high thread counts can be sweaty. Price also isn't great.Apologize, mod can del this post if needed.
The reviews/feedback on kogan and COTD site looked good so thought good deal here

Sateen Cotton is 100% cotton as well. They are a nice feel though a little warm in summer.
Sateen is just a method of weaving thread.
Also goes for percale, it refers to a method not material or species of cotton.
Not 100% Cotton, its just a blend.
