    Spent a small fortune 2 days ago, wonder if the transaction has to occur after the offer is redeemed, couldn't tell in the t&c's, or just within the statement period and qualifying timeframes

      all amex offers needs to be purchased when the deal is active and the card is registered. You get the credit almost instantly back

    I don't have an Amex, but what is stopping you from purchasing then refunding and essentially getting $15 free?

      Because when they refund, it will refund to your CC and Amex will know

    There's one in Myer Sydney City- will the Amex deal work there or would the transaction go through as the merchant being Myer and not Shoes and Sox?

    my 2 cents after doing own research for shopping today. hope will save others time. let me know if you find better deals,
    - most shops offering 20% off from RRP on school shoes including Clarks. DJ, SS, Myer….so no difference.
    - cash rebate up to 8% on Clarks (RRP), DJ (on top of discount) online via cash back websites
    - free shipping over $99 on DJ,shoes warehouse and others
    - we go SS as wife wants "perfect" fittings, so 20% + $15off Amex seem best deal. Thanks OP.

    valid in QLD. bought my kids shoes there, they were $79.95. I asked to be charged 5c more to trigger the offer. after about 5 minutes of errring and ahhhhring they decided it was ok and put an item on the docket with the description "Customer wanted to be charged 5c more".
