Anyone have any experience regarding these? How would they compare to a Sonos or Bose system?

not bad for the money, good sound and they use the qualcomm streaming chipset
2x10w rms speakers, should be loud enough
free shipping for 2 heavy speakers is also a good deal

      thanks OP

I'm more interested in this as I have decent sound systems in most rooms I would use it already.

Add one to the loungeroom, garage and cubby house (has a cheap Kmart bluetooth/fm/aux stereo running from a 20 watt solar system that also powers garden lights from a timer). Play music from the media server pc located in the kitchen and rock out like I have Sonos for parties! Cheers for the heads up on this protocol I'm gonna look into it.

  • Damn! Missed out, was on the payment screen for too long contemplating wether to buy or not. Oh well

I bought a couple in Midland…they had quite a few left. A word of warning, while the wifi playing works you are seriously limited to the horrible qualcom app and cant stream from a PC or a MAC (only android and ios). But on the phones its only within the app, it does not show up like an airplay device or a chromecast. The Qualcomm app cannot play anything with DRM (ie apple music or Google music). It can link to spotify. I could not find a podcast player that supports it which was my major use case.

All that said the sound quality is decent.

    • How did you redeem the offer in store? Does it just scan automatically. I thought it was an online only deal

      • The offer was displayed in-store, so I assume it scans.

I just received two of the wifi adapters that I linked above. I can stream to both from windows 10 with a right click -> cast to device. I had installed "Alljoyn" from the windows store prior to receiving the devices and had linked the two players from the Allplay Jukebox app before using windows. So it is possible, I'm gonna keep playing with it.
