Sonos considered a better speaker and app based on reviews, but Bose has bluetooth, aux input and remote.
Two Soundtouch 10s would play the same sound as you can't set them up in stereo unlike the Sonos. However, the Soundtouch 10 does have Bluetooth for streaming direct for phone etc.
The Bose has 6 presets on the top panel. :)
I could not decide between Sonos or Bose, but the fact that everyone in the house can use the Bose without having to open the phone then open the app, then wait for it to connect made it the clear winner. Just my 2c
I done the same, went with the Bose.
Note, the updated app now allows you to set the Bose in Stereo like the Sonos
I wonder if 2x SoundTouch 10 would trump a SoundTouch 20 since they both go for $399 when on sale at MYER. I bought a 20 for my parents and my sister and it's been a great speaker - I actually regret not getting one myself as I had a B&W A5.
