message to students: "while you can't fly a plane after the aviation course, at least you can try to fly a drone."

Is there a case study on Bunnings in the course?

  • Can't say I'm interested in aviation, but given the free gift, put me down for Perth.

  • so what can you do as side job once you're "qualified"?

    • Ariel Photography, soon we'll have franchise options, which will allow you to get bigger drones from us such as the DJI Matrice 600 to do drone advertising.

I'll be demanding a refund if you don't deliver on the promise of Ariel Photography

I would have preferred areola photography…

Which Phantom 3 drone are you "offering"?

    • Standard Phantom 3.

Will you be authorised to pick up sausage form bunnings after completing course?

    • +1

      Sadly no :(

You'll be able to fly drones over 2kg commercially however!

    • Drone version of uber eats ? I like it…

      • Let's make it happen!

        • until it starts raining drones, then fun police will say no :(

  • Does this cover everything needed to fly comercialy? All tests, any CASA fees, all certification etc?

  • $3200 is very expensive for a certification. Is it the normal price or does the price covers the cost of the drone?

    • Actualy the price has dropped a lot since the new drone laws came in. In the past it could cost anywhere up to 10k. 3k for a 7 day course and full commercial certification doesn't sound to bad in comparison

      • Exactly! An RePL is pretty hard to find under $2000 from most training organisations. We also offer the cert 3, which makes it a pretty great little package deal.

We hope to become one of Australia's best drone schools along with trying to innovate some new ways to use drones.
Drone Advertising, although not entirely a new innovation. It's a little less common in Australia and is a cheap and fun way to advertise your brand.

    • These courses are not cheap; I've been researching them for a while. I already have a Phantom 3 Pro, but only fly it around an oval because I'm not particularly trained and don't want to tick off the gods of CASA. Thinking about this class, as I'm an industrial photographer and have wanted to send my drone up on sites several times (but since I don't have the RePL and don't want to run afoul of CASA, haven't done it).

Take a look around we have the RePL for $1800. Most organisations are charging a minimum of $2000. We're trying to be as competitive as possible.

A drone would be able to take some awesome shots for sure! We have a Matrice 600 which we can mount a DSLR on, that may be some interest to you :)

Have a chat with us and see what we can do with you in the new year!

  • I don't know if a drone is really what people want with such an expensive certification. Maybe deduct the cost of the drone, help people to further their careers and they can buy an even better drone with the money they make.

    • We can always have a chat :) Call/email/message us :)

    • You would be better off taking this deal and selling the drone, as the amount they would reduce would likely be less than you will get from selling the drone.

  • Site is down?

    403 error

    • Maybe a few too many jumped on and the site got overloaded. Either way, it's up now. :)
