Windscribe VPN $49.99 USD (~ $69.32 AUD) for Lifetime - 94% off

30

Windscribe is an excellent option for both all users. Rather than being just a VPN service, Windscribe is a complete security suite that includes a desktop application and a browser extension. The setup process is intuitive and straightforward, unlike other VPNs which occasionally require frustrating configurations.

This is the highest value option, but their other subscriptions are also discounted, and if you recommend a friend, you get $10 back:

1 Year Subscription $19.00 $108.00
3 Year Subscription $29.00 $324.00
5 Year Subscription $39.00 $540.00
Lifetime Subscription $49.99 $900.00

Any lifetime subscription makes worry about the business model. I'm not against it, but just saying.

    • Agree 👍

    • yeah it's not sustainable. But I suppose you weigh up whether you think they'll be around in say 2yrs. if so, then $us25/yr is good. If they're around in 5, then that's a bonus.

But I think they've been selling this deal via stack social for awhile, so I can't see them lasting more then a few years, or if they do, their service will be so overcrowded they'll be useless.

  • anyone know concurrent device confections allowed?

  • I think the version here, if it is the pro version, has unlimited devices and simultaneous connections. (http://www.best-vpn.net/windscribe-vpn-review/)

Hasn't the price been US$49 for lifetime on Stacksocial for like forever? You can get the recommend a friend, $10 there as well as the 10% off if you sign up to their newsletter, no?

Reading the reviews of Windscribe, it seems to be OK, speeds are consistent but not stellar. Looks like it's got some adblock options in the browser extensions, but uses a 3rd party android app? (Not sure as I don't have a subscription)

    • it seems to be OK, speeds are consistent but not stellar.

Yeah, the speed from my personally experience seems extrememly slow… Of course I tested in the "trial" format so maybe they throttle the speed?

Anyway, my results were < 4mbps for any of the US servers I tried vs my ~80mbps for the PIA Texas server, sure PIA has some slower speeds when I connect to some US servers but at least one of them was servicable for me so I'm happy.

  • how many country's IP do they offer?

  • Does it work for Netflix?

  • This deal is $10.99 usd cheaper here. NOTE i am not associated nor have bought from below, found it on youtube and doing more research before i commit to a vpn
