Meizu EP-51 Bluetooth Sport in-Ear Earbuds $26.99 USD (~$36.09 AUD) @GearBest

90

Hi guys first post

The original Meizu EP-51 headphones are on sale again. Around $1.50 more expensive than last time.
Bought these on the last sale and I think they're pretty sweet for the price.
Battery life isn't in the same league as more expensive headphones about 4-6 hours.
They were pretty comfy thought I thought their design to be a bit awkward.
Sound is just fine for what you are paying for. Clear but not bass heavy
Have been great for the gym.

  • Same deal on the white colour?

    • Let me confirm!

      • Hi PW,I am sorry, the white one cant be run at such low for now.

        • What's the best price you can do?

        • @PW:
USD29.61,if you need,I can apply a coupon for you

  • I ordered one of this the last time was on sale $34 and its absolutely crap/rubbish
the sound is just horrible , not worth $10 and if anyone can confirm the opposite can step up !

    • Mine is working fine.Sound is ok for my daily walking/jogging . If anyone can find a better pair of Bluetooth earbuds for that price can step up :)

    • Sounds ok to me… Seems like you expected qc35 quality for 35 bucks haha

    • I bought them last time for around this price and was really happy with them.

I also own a set of the Jaybird X2s which I purchased around the same time and are what I mainly use now. While the Jaybirds are definitely better, if I got the same amount of wear out of both the X2s and the the EP-51s I'd probably be fine with the EP-51s.

Of course as I've mainly used the X2s I'm still not sure about the longevity of the EP-51s.

    • generally quite fine from a sound only perspective. sound is alright balanced but i do prefer bass heavy earphones. some loss at the high range.

problem is bloody annoying earphones keep dropping out

for the price range I prefer the MPOW Wolverines much, much more.

    • With the supplied ear buds I was less than enthused but pairing them with custom earmolds, e.g. Radians for about $30 bucks and they sound amazing for about $60 total.

    • I bought a pair, and the sound is great.

I also have the Jaybird X2's and whilst they are not as good as the Jaybird, they are still very comparable. At 10% of the price of Jaybirds, they are a great buy.

  • +1

when i was looking for a cheap pair of bluetooth earphones (for a brief 30min bus ride each day, i did look at these but was put off by the look of bulky metal and red wires

considered the Awei A980BL for a plainer less bulky look for aud$20.04

  • Bought a pair over a month ago for $38 from GB and they're awesome. Good treble and fantastic bass. The only minor issue is putting them on for the first couple of times but you'll get used to it in time.

  • I got these last time to test out if it worth getting Bluetooth headphones for running.
They are great listening to podcasts but music quality is very meh. That said great for the price.

  • I bought a pair in a deal some time back, and I'm well impressed with them for the price.

  • i think this price is even cheaper than how much meizu ask for on Tmall.
