    I got the price difference credit thanks to this chair and others, and after a thorough review, I have decided to purchase 2 more Kimberley chairs (and will return 2 other chairs, probably this one!) .. More expensive but has a full seat padding and insulated drink holder.

        PS: And regarding returning goods to SCA, on their site it says if you wanna cancel an order after you've placed it call their number and they'll fix it, or something along that line. I've first bought the cheaper ones, and have just bought the ones I've linked here so I'll give them a call after 9:00am and ask them to cancel the first order.

        Bunnings generally have something that looks like this for around $5-$7. I'm sure these are a slightly better build, but if you need some cheap you may wish to try Bunnings.

      Absolutely! The $5 ones looked very cheap and flimsy, compared to the $12 & $15 ones. I was afraid that they may not cancel my first order of the cheaper ones, but it was straightforward.

    I chucked in some of the 20-40 cent rope with my order, just got a call from them

    Me: "Hello"
    SCA guy with heavy American accent: "Hi this is (forgot name already) from Super Cheap Auto how are you?"
    Me: "Good thanks how are you?"
    SCA guy: Yeah good, listen you have an order with some rope in it here that we dont currently have stock of in the exact colours, but I can change it for a very substantial amount of the black rope instead"
    Me: "Uhhh yeah thats no problem"
    SCA guy: (Sounding surprised) "Oh okay cool well then your orders ready"

    I bought the Fraser version and found it too narrow at the knees (front of chair), only the Kimberley version was comfortable.
    Anyone bought the Simpson version and can offer an opinion on this. It might only be comfortable for those under 12 y.o.

      UPDATE: Local store phoned me to let me know that they currently have no stock. They did advise me that they are trying to source some from other stores and they will let me know when they are in (not sure when that could be).

    I purchased 2 of these and it showed available stock at the Warwick farm store. They rang me after placing the order and said it's not available at the store and offerred a free postage through online store. About an hour later I got a call again saying they couldn't find any stock so can't do anything but refund. Disappointing!!

        Yes I asked for other chairs and he said they do not have any left. I was going to be happy to upgrade with additional payment. Or take something equivalent from their store but they won't honour it unfortunately. I wanted to upgrade to "Ridge Ryder Camping Chair - Kimberley, 175kg" which weirdly is showing as stock available now online but this guy is telling me it's not.

          "Probably earlier" is not worth a neg. You have no idea about the stock levels at the store and they could have had previous sales they had to fulfil from previous days.

          sorry I work in supply chain, they should really get the stock level correct to avoid confusion and inconvenience. At least provide some similar product. So it's worth a neg.

          I'm sure after working in the supply chain you would understand why stock levels wouldn't be 100% accurate. Theft, Human Error and many different factors can affect this. So don't use that as an excuse to miss out on a bargain.

          No actually it should be close to 100% as they should maintain the accuracy with stocktake and reduce the discrepancy. Multiple lineitems are still showing as stock being available online but they are telling me it's not. It would make more sense to offer an alternative as the online site indicated available stock and the order confirmation was sent, payment was made. They should keep "buffer" stock if they are not confident with their stock count as not all people are generous like you and can continue to waste time.

          I said buffer if they are not confident. Read carefully.
          And I never said daily stocktake lol. If the customer picks the stock then it shouldn't allow payment at checkout for the online buyer and vice versa. Items are scanned and it's not difficult to make the online and store stock to have the quantity allocated simultaneously. Thanks for trying but not good enough. Simply I had a bad experience and wasted my time hence a neg. I don't need your judgement, it's my call for god's sake. If you guys are so defensive about it then just get rid of the neg button.
