Yes it's plastic, but I couldn't find a cheaper one anywhere. Maybe good for those who are never intending to get a steel one.
1c less through Cashrewards and Ebay!!!! - here

I'd pay the extra few dollars and get a digital one from ebay
I bought a cheapie from Stratco and it's terrible. Battery doesn't fit well, and if moved fast it loses where it is.
I bought few from Banggood which were around $10 which are better than many you get from Ebay\Bunnings as they have automatic turnoff when not in use. I work in Foam fabrication company and use callipers a lot.
Which one? I need one.
Below one. It comes with two batteries. Never take the whole calliper apart because a steel bit comes out and it's hard to put them back in. One lot came with circular stopper at end of scale and other batch didn't. Only negative feedback is the screw is not easily comes out if you want to dis assemble for some reason (most of the time you wouldn't)

@vivekviswa:
Those are under $6 on eBay though.
@Steptoe: Links please
@Steptoe: Model looks very identical to ones I got..Hopefully it also has automatic turnoff. Thank you
Oh cool, now I can accurately measure the size of my small….. :/
Nostrils?
Here bro for an extra dollar something, you get this precision tool from Banggood.
In order to measure you need to find it first…
All goo bro, I've borrowed the Hubble Telescope and eventually found it. It was like trying to spot Pluto from Earth lol :p
Ew all you see is goo
TMI bro
i bought one couple of years ago. maybe mine was a dud but the horrible quality showed through and i never used it again
I had one years ago. It was fine until the dog chewed it, then it was bit difficult to use.
They have coloured ones for $1.99, WAS $2. BARGAIN.
