Was looking for this for cheap and found this on isthereanydeal - but when i added to cart, and went to checkout, it came up at $22!!
Probably the cheapest I've seen it for ever.

Edit: I originally posted as AU$22.05, I was confused with the pricing on the site.

Crap, you're correct. Makes it AU$31.86 if paid via PayPal.

  • mine shows $22.05 but is USD
estimated on the site to be $30.75 AUD

    • Worked out that this is in fact $22.05 USD :(
      Have edited my post.

Still waiting for it to come down to AUD $20.

  • Nice find OP. Noob question: how does one download this? Like, is it a code to redeem on Steam or something?

  • Not a Steam key sadly but great price.

  • wish prices were this low for ps4/xbox

Excellent price! Was about to buy this for $37usd off steam! Knew waiting a few days would pay off. Thanks for posting, would not have found it otherwise.

  • not worth it tbh if its not a steam key

    • You have to buy direct from Steam to get the Steam version. So unlikely to get pricing as good there.

What's the benefit of having the "Steam version"? Would it be the same if you bought this Rockstar version and "add" it to Steam?

        • +2

The benefits for the steam version is really only the steam features
The Steam Version:- You have to load Steam to use it. It will still use the Social Club launcher, your in-game friends list will still be the Social Club friends list.

The Social Club only version:- You load it with (add it as a non steam game) or without Steam. Your friends list is in the social club.

The only REAL differences are you need to load steam and you have steam achievements available. Everything else is handled via the Rockstar Social Club.

@JordanL121: Thankyou for your explanation. The difference seems negligible and will not affect gameplay.

        • One additional difference might be steam downloads unmetered for some people on limited connections, but not sure how this applies with double-handled steam+external client games

What size is the download? It says you need 65Gb to install (but I assume the file will be compressed for downloading - so smaller than 65Gb?)

    • It is huge and takes ages. Uplay's file distribution is a lot slower. Might take more than 12 hours.

  • is it possible to transfer data from ps3 to pc?

    • What sort of data? This is on the OP's link

TRANSFER YOUR EXISTING GTA ONLINE CHARACTER
Existing players on PlayStation®3, PlayStation®4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One will be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to PC. For more information, please visit rockstargames.com/gtaonline/charactertransfer.

      • cheers thanks, yeah that's what i was after

  • Hey guys how does one actually view the games they own on Rockstar Social Club? I can't seem to find the page.

    • +1

      Here: socialclub.rockstargames.com
      Then you go games: socialclub.rockstargames.com/games

The ones with the yellow tick are the ones you own…may be on various platforms e.g. xbox, pc or ps.

Clicking the gear up the top right, and going game downloads will take you to the GTA V download. Not sure if others become listed here if you own them on PC?

      • I did find the "game downloads" link which shows I'm able to download GTA V, but the "games" page has not shown the yellow tick. I think it will when I install the game and log into Social Club in game the first time.

        Thanks for your help.
