I've heard all the good things about boxing day, but so far I've only been disappointed every time I go out to find bargins on boxing day (or even online).
Was boxing day ever good? or am I just spoiled by all the good deals found on OZB throughout the years…
We had wins at DFO in Bundoora.
-Levi's outlet was 50% off already reduced prices. Picked up 2 pairs of jeans @ $35 each
-Homeware store was 50% off already reduced selected items. Picked up a circulon classic baking tray for $50 (rrp $200)
We were chatting to the storeperson within the homeware store who was laughing about how busy Bonds and Nike were. She mentioned that each of the stores had been running the same promotion for the last 5 weeks.
Dunno bout you, but i got myself two pans. TWO!

All in all that's a pretty good sale for me.
Well it's obvious. Retailers know they will get idiots in the dooors so no needmtomoffer massive savings. 10-20% is what we saw at most. Some did 40 of rrp and spun it that way though.
I bought 7D Mango for $1.75 a pack! That was my win. Also bought a camera, not on sale but there was a $100 cash-ish back deal.

NIKE DFO STORE Uni Hill Bundoora
Sale on 10th December = 40% on everything (Fresh stock and Old stock)
Boxing day sale = 30%
Please note that this store has 40% on items which are on wall shelves throughout year and these are mostly last pairs. On boxing day these same shoes from wall shelves were for 30%
Normally fresh stock is at 20% throughout year but few weeks (10th December) before Christmas the same stock was at 40% and on Boxing day this stock was for 30%.
