$100/ $200 EFTPOS Gift Card on Fujitsu Split Systems at Harvey Norman

50

Harvey Norman has a deal on Fujitsu split systems, with most coming with a bonus $100 or $200 EFTPOS gift card.

In particular the ASTG09KMCA is on sale for $776 + $100 gift card. Probably not the cheapest it's ever been (thinking GG + eBay 20% off), but still a very good price on a Fujitsu.

Edit: that unit is no longer on sale but some others are, and the EFTPOS card bonus is still on.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2016

I think Fujitsu is not as good as before

  • Combine it with this (for those that have it saved to their Amex card) and the effective value is $576 for the 2.5kw system. Great price!!!

Almost as good as when the Fujitsu cash back offer was on:

  • Does Mark Taylor come around to your house to personally give you the Gift Card?
    :)

  • This one is better than the bing lee offer yesterday!

  • How much does installation usually cost?

    • Depends. I got one in last week and cost me $750 (including an electrician but it was more than I expected

      • Electrician is not optional - it's a hardwired appliance with an isolator switch (and probably a new, dedicated circuit, too).

The installer must be a sparky and fridgie by law.

  • $750 installation cost through double brick in metro melbourne 2years ago. $750 purchase with a $200 card to spend so $1300 for a similar model Fujitsu. Has worked winter and summer in lounge room without a problem.Fairly quiet outside too.

  • this deal is expired - the ticketed and online price has gone up.

I managed to get one this morning though at this price at HN Nunawading.

Installation quoted at $649 from Harvey Norman but it's back-to-back in a 2nd story bedroom, maybe will be more?

Isn't this unit a bit small for a lounge? Calculations are for a 4x3m type room?

I chose the Fujitsu over Mitsubishi (899) mainly because of the EFTPOS card 100 discount, but I thought Fujitsu is still good? A panasonic 5kW has already broken on me.

Combine with the Fujitsu extra 2 year warranty for 7 years total which isn't bad given my Panasonic chip board broke at 5 years outside warranty. Still haven't fixed it yet, not sure it's worth $500 for no guarantee of fix.
