I just installed VPN on my comp which has worked really well.
However I noticed that when I'm connect to VPN and try to search a deal on the OzBargain website it shows up as "Access Denied" and "IP Blocked".
But once I disconnect the VPN, the OzBargain site and search engine works fine.
Is this normal? and is there a away to keep VPN on whilst using the OzBargain site?
When VPN is turned on, whatismyip.com reads as follows;
45.56.158.163
City: alexandria
State/Region: new south wales
Country: au -
Postal Code: 2015
Time Zone: ETC +10:00
ISP: simplelink
It's unblocked now, it was blocked earlier this year due to a couple spammers. Just TWAM if it happens again and we can take a look.

BTW if your exit point is in Australia, that's hardly going to help you with bypassing geoblocking. Maybe you were trying to be less traceable?
Works fine for me. I use TunnelBear, it makes a roaring sound when it connects.
Someone using the IP has been breaking ozbartgain rules so the IP is banned. If they're persistent more than one IP will be banned. Not much you can do other than change IP/server using the VPN software or failing that change VPN provider.
It's normal, being anonymoose turns people into jerks :p

If you let us know we can bypass IP blocks on accounts. Yes, lots of spammers on VPN.
What is the exit point of your VPN? What does it say when you go to the website whatismyip.com?
