I've been looking at a4 copier paper and there are so many choices
How important is CIE? and which copier paper do you go for and why?
I'm currently looking at reflex, double a, jburrows and xerox. Xerox seems to have the highest CIE

I also think you are over thinking this.
Consider also a sustainability criteria.
Keji has after printing smell.
Our company doesn't bother with the Brand of copy paper as long as it's on special. We usually stock up when it's on special at Woolies or Office Works. We had been using a different brand of copy paper every 2 years and didn't notice any difference. Xerox, Reflex and now we are on Keji A4 High whiteness 150 CIE 80gsm.
We do use it for everyday printing as well as rental contracts. Never had a complain from our customers so I don't think it matters.
