Costco, Any Chance of Finding Prices of Certain Items?

I am looking to buy the Sony 75X8500D TV, which was sold at Costco for $2999 during the black friday sale
Is there any chance knowing/getting notified when a similar deal appears again? hopefully this month.

Of course I will keep an eye on posting on OZB but was wondering if there was an easy way to track pricing of this at Costco without being a member

I dont have a membership and would take it if I can get this TV at this price (well worth it I think)

    Not really, just join. You should be able to recover the cost several times from the free samples

    You can get a refund on your membership fee anytime. When I was a poor student I signed up for a year and then cancelled after 360 days for a full refund.

      The catch with the refund is that you can't sign up for another year afterwards.

      For example;

      • I sign up on 20/12/14
      • Then, I'd cancel on 15/12/15
      • As a result, I won't be able to sign up again until 15/12/16

        It's funny because this was never mentioned to me at the time (maybe because I had a business membership?). But you could always get a partner/friend to sign up next year and bring you as their guest… Also is OP really planning to wait over 12 months to get their TV if they don't go on sale in the next while?

        Yes, in addition you would also lose your unlimited warranty on your products

    So is the membership worth it?

    I had membership for a year and realised a few things.

    1. Items when on spl at ww or Coles their price would match or beat Costcos prices
    2. I ended up buying stuff I didn't need on every single trip
    3. It's a hassle to drive to and back from Costco with weekend manic

    When we had membership we loved the bakery stuff and other food platters and that's about it. Cakes are also awesome at Costco.

    Ps: Aldi is my new preferred grocery place now with some top up shopping at ww or Coles.

    Costco has a boxing day coupon for $800 off the 75" X85D Bravia but I don;t know what that will bring the price down to.

    Black Friday coupon was $1500 off so I suspect it may be around $3700 with the $800 coupon? Anyone know where to get one cheaper?

      Where did you find this coupon?

      I signed up for Costco membership yesterday hoping to find a deal on this tv. Well of course other reasons too.

      Costco price us 4499 so with a 800 coupon brings it down to 3699. Not as great as 2999 in the last sale.
