Rock Band Rivals (PS4/Xbone) up to 50% off - Band Kit $149 (Was $299), Wireless Guitar Kit $79 (Was $139) @ EB Games

250

Saturday night might be alright for fighting, but Friday I'm in love with these rockin' deals! The impression that I get is that EB Games are one of the few mobs selling Rock Band 4 Rivals with instruments at the moment, and prices are free falling to up to 50% on this recently released bundle.

I bet my life you won't find a better price in the next few centuries…you may have suspicious minds but follow me down for some direct links:

Rock Band Rivals Band Kit PS4 - was $299 now $149
Rock Band Rivals Band Kit Xbox One - was $299 now $149
Rock Band Rivals - Wireless Fender Jaguar Guitar Bundle PS4 - was $139 now $79
Rock Band Rivals - Wireless Fender Jaguar Guitar Bundle Xbox One - was $139 now $79

Now is the perfect time to start a band with the one you love, and somebody told me you can either order online, or put on a short skirt/long jacket and head into your local store to pickup. Stock levels in store aren't great, so say a prayer or you'll miss out - I ain't messin' `round!

        Lol.. I clicked..

  • I couldn't be bothered learning the new GH controller layout, this seems like a good way to get my fix. What's the go with song DLC on Rock Band?

… also I hear there is Cake?

  • God damn it, I just got the Jaguar bundle the other day for a hundred. I'll see if they'll take it back without the box, and then grab it again at the new price. Cheers OP

Buy it again, then return the new one with the old receipt

      • That's actually a way better idea. Thanks buddy!

  • Thanks OP!! Tried to buy one a month ago for 170$ but it was out of stock; hopefully I'll get the purchase I just put through. Chose to pick up in store /fingers crossed!

  • Rock Band 4 was such a slap in the face to the old fans that I'm amazed they had the audacity to charge for online play. What a complete and utter crock.

  • This deal seems pretty good. But I don't own a next gen console.

I bought heaps of Rock Band games & DLC for PS3. And also lots of guitar hero games.
I'm pretty sure I can import all the old DLCs as long as I get a PS4.

Can I play any of the old PS3 titles on the PS4?
Can I use the old instruments on a PS4? & will they work for the latest titles?
Can I use RB4 instruments for Guitar hero?

Going to check out prices for PS4 consoles now.

Regular DLC songs (i.e not exports) work fine, except for those that have been de-listed.

If you have exported songs from older disc-based Rock Band games, the DLC entitlements are in a very bad state in that most EU/AU PS4 players are not getting the songs they should've been receiving. For example: Exporting Lego Rock Band songs in Rock Band 3 worked perfectly fine back in the day, however those songs won't show up in Rock Band 4 and this is due to the mishandling of content by Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE).

Can I play any of the old PS3 titles on the PS4?

      No.

Can I use the old instruments on a PS4? & will they work for the latest titles?

Yes. Just plug the instrument's receiver into the PS4's USB port. Consult the compatibility chart for more info

Can I use RB4 instruments for Guitar hero?

No. The RB4 instruments (ones bundled with RB Rivals) are not backwards compatible, nor compatible with Guitar Hero Live - since that uses a completely different guitar.
