  • Appears for that price it is only available to Amazon Prime members.

    • Which means if you don't already have Amazon Prime and want this deal price, then it's either the use of an Amazom Prime free trial, or if you've already used the trial before then an extra $10.99 USD for a months worth of Amazon Prime.

So if you can't get access to the free Amazon Prime trial (because you've already used it before), or don't currently have an Amazon Prime membership, then it might as well be $81.99 USD ($111.50 AUD) delivered, factoring in the $10.99 USD charge for the 30 day paid Amazon Prime.

      • So basically you can get free shipping on amazon by cancel prime membership before 30 days?

Amazon Prime offers free shipping only to USA postal addresses. Postage to Australian postal addresses is not free.

  • 38c per gigabyte.

I remember how awesome it was when HDDs dropped to $1 per megabyte

  • Don't do cheap on HDs. Pay a bit extra and get a reliable brand.

Agreed. There is a sandisk 240gb ssd plus for $95 at msy. Id go for that. Plenty of other options in the sub $110 bracket too.

Ummm, yes… but this drive is using the latest Micron 3D NAND, so it's compatible in specs to the Crucial MX300 (and potentially the Samsung 850 EVO).

The Sandisk SSD Plus and the other <$110 models are not equivalent product specs, so it wins against those if the price was the same.

Hey, this drive is not perfect - the MX300 and Samsung 980 EVO (no, not the 750 EVO) are better drives than this one, however they usually cost more.

Maybe… however this isn't one of those, so it doesn't matter for this deal.

    • Yeah. I paid extra and got 2 x Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD for a RAID 0 setup. Nice!.

  • Now down to $64.99 USD
    Hmmmm Tempting!!

That's how much it was to begin with. It's an Amazon Prime member only price so you need an Amazon Prime membership to be able to buy it. $64.99 USD + delivery = $71 USD ($97 AUD) delivered.
