EB Games/Zing - Pop Vinyl Figures 'Buy Two, Get One Free' - Sale Stock Only

150

For those who are into Pop Vinyl figures, this is worth looking at as they are either $9 or $15 each at the moment (depends on what character, of course) and combining these price points could lead into getting a great combo.

If going through the cheapest option, three figures for $18 is amazing value, since one would retail for $19 each.

The "buy two, get one free" promo only includes stickered sale stock - does not apply to regularly-priced figures (which go for $19). Also, the deal starts at 9am (AEDT) Thursday.

  • Sale stock only? I've been to EB Games and they don't have many options at all. Never been to Zing cause there's no local store. If the pops you want is there in the sale bin there good for you :D

    • It's more of a Zing deal as they have a ton in stock, often with a whole wall dedicated to these. I imagine EB's stock is a taster of Zing's.

What are these used for? Is it a game?

No just a… collectable? Like an action figure. I got one as a gift and it just seems like a big bobblehead without the bobble.

    • They are collectable figurines, where the characters are based off various forms of pop culture, ranging from Batman to World of Warcraft to Naruto and everything in-between.

They are not compatible with any video game in the same vein as Skylander or amiibo figures. They are merely pieces of plastic (and a spring) that are molded together in a uniform fashion - oversized heads, beady eyes and detailing of the bodies.

Yes, thanks. My wife collects the 'Willow Tree' ones. Are they included in the sale?

  • Good deal, but the $9/$15 sale has been on for just over 2 months now so the stock will be a bit depleted at smaller stores or EB's.

  • I got a nathan drake one for $9 price matched at jbhifi. Matches my uncharted ps4 console. :)

  • They have upped the price on all the 'sale' pops. They are now full price!

    • Not on the zing website?

      • Oh! They've changed them back. They were definitely full price at 9am. Weird.

  • Ugh they're all now full price. Not much of a deal at $19 ea.

  • In Zing, they were still stickered at $9 or $15 each - the same as before. It's best to head in-store to avoid the deal-killing shipping fee.
