Xbox One Trade

Hi guys, with all these crazy xbox One S deals going on, I thought it might be a good time to trade my launch Xbox One with kinetic. There used to be a spread sheet kicking around the internet which had the best prices and places to trade, but I can't seem to find it. I'm looking to trade my xbox One 500gb, controller, kinetic (all boxed), and I also have a nintendo 64 with expansion pack kicking around (which from the looks of it is worth almost as much). I also have an original PS3 console but I don't think that's even worth trading.

Any suggestions? The prices at CEX seem a lot better than EB from my research thus far. If anyone has a link to that spreadsheet, that would be awesome.

  • The N64 is an alltime legendary console, but you should sell it if it's PAL and just get an American or Japanese one (same thing inside with just plastic territory protection) for old times sake. For some reason the Australian PAL games are hugely overpriced. You can get a pretty large set of NTSC games for the price of one PAL game. Paper Mario or Mario Party 1,2,3 Japan are super common, but PAL versions are rarish and expensive.

    • I havent even turned on the N64 in over a decade. I won't buy another one. Will it increase in value though? Should I trade it now? I can get $100 for it at EB.

  • Just sell them on Gumtree or the like. There's no way EB will offer you anywhere near the value of what the 64 is worth on the private market.

It's like if you traded in a VL Walkinshaw into a dealership, they'll offer you the value of a 30yo car, nothing more nothing less. EB will work on the same principle.

1 weekend on Gumtree and they'll both be gone for at least $100 more than what EB etc will pay you.
