Hi.
I have spectacles with a clear frame that really require professional cleaning.
I seem to recall getting a free clean somewhere in Market City.
Is this a service lots of optometrists offer? Or do you need to have purchased from them?
Many thanks.

The frames have a lot of build up and it is quite noticeable as they are clear. There is a special bath some optometrists have that somehow removes all this instantly.
Try sunglass hut
Sounds like some sort of ultrasonic cleaner. You can get a small unit of your own and DIY, they aren't that expensive and are good for jewellery, watch bands and other items. e.g. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Battery-Operated-Watch-Eyeglasses… Obviously you can get "toys" all the way to professional units, your results will vary. They are really good at vibrating the dirt particles out of hinges and nooks and crannies that you generally can't get at with manual cleaning. You will still need to dry it and clean the surface manually to remove smudges and fingerprints. The use of an optical cleaner spray will do a great job of smudges.
Take them into any OPSM. They do free cleaning and adjust. Endotherm is correct, they will use an ultrasonic cleaner and your frames will come out looking great.
SGH will also clean them, but that's an old fashioned cleaning cloth and spray.
Thanks! What I needed :)
If you buy glasses from Sunglass hut they will always service them for you.
What do mean by professional cleaning though? Is it not something you can do yourself with a cloth and some glasses cleaner?
