Bonus Points Offer Issue

I was taking part in a promotion where If I spent $110.00 for 4 weeks I would get 10000 bonus points. However I am a bit worried now cause I placed a click and collect order on the 11th December but I collected on the 12th. Does that mean because I collected it on the 12th I don't qualify because I had to spend money between the 5th December and the 11th December. Technically I made the order on the 11th but for collection on the 12th.

    In seriousness, should be fine. Even if it's not fine and you don't get the points, c'est la vie. Seriously there are more important things to worry about than coles/woolies points.

    Depends on the terms and conditions of the offer. Have you read the fine print?

    • Out of all the fine print it says the only relevant thing says:
      To earn 10000 bonus Woolworths points you must spend at least $110 (the qualifying spend amount) in one or more transactions at a Woolworths supermarket or Woolworths Metro (excluding Tasmania) during each of the 4 designated weeks

      Technically I did, but because I picked up the day after this is the grey area I suppose.

      Hopefully If I play dumb and I don't get them, they might feel sorry for me :)

    This is something you could contact WW Rewards about. Even if it wasn't eligible they can still sort you out with the points if you let them know your confusion

    Call/phone woolies rewards, the girls in new zealand that will answer are really good at checking things out for you.

    And they nearly speak australian.

  • If they have charged you, and issued the invoice on the 11th, generally-speaking, that will be the date. But if you only got the invoice on the 12th upon collection, then call them up. I am sure they will not quibble over this small technicality.

  • Check your card transactions/statement - if that particular transaction dated 11th, then you're all good. If it's 12th, then looks like you've missed out by a day.
