I posted this deal a while back, it was so bad I had to post it. Basically P&O were giving onboard credit, $1 for every point NSW scored in a state of Origin. Emails were generated to everyone on their mailing lists offering $6 on board credit.

To be fair it was undoubtedly some kind of unforced error on the part of the Big W team member who'd been given the task of putting in new tags for their sale, however I once saw a packet of the most basic Bic pens going out on clearance for $0.01 more than they'd been previously marked as. I didn't feel a sudden rush of blood when I saw this saving.
I can imagine that one might tend to enter the land of nod, as it were, given the task is most assuredly mind numbingly boring, but it was funny to think that they'd slapped on that tag without noticing the mistake.
Any groupon-style Restaurant discount, where the restaurant gives you a seperate menu from full paying customers, and treats you like you are wasting their time.
