Strange how it says 'not suitable for SCUBA diving'.

The fact that it says 'Diver's 200m' rather than just '200m water resist' or similar on the dial means it's an ISO compliant diver designed for SCUBA use.

    • Always thought 200m was divers watch ….so brand / model what is a cheap quartz divers watch …. After loosing one omega seamaster while diving I don't want to take expensive watches diving anymore

      • Not all '200m water resist' watches are true dive watches. To qualify as a dive watch, there are special requirements that need to be met with regards to legibility, functionality (bezel must be uni-directional) and water resistance.

Dive watches certified to meet all of these requirements (specified in an ISO standard) will have 'Diver's 200m' on the face because it either does not, or is not guaranteed to meet the ISO standard..l

There are plenty of good 'dive' watches which aren't formally certified in this way, however. The Orient Mako is a good example. It would probably handle diving just fine, but the lack of lume on the second hand is one reason why it can't be certified as a dive watch.

The best cheap dive-style watch you can get is probably the Casio MDV-106 (~65). It's not ISO certified but it is rated to 200m. The only downsides are the poor lume and the fact that on close inspection, you can tell that the face is cheap plastic. It's otherwise a very solid and attractive watch.

Cashrewards introduces it at black friday/cyber monday, for that period of time.
