I'll still mainly use my rechargeable batteries but I'll bring these batteries if i am going camping. for a week.
They are good to have at home as backup. They last ages and have long expiry.
This is a bargain for applications where long shelf life or low weight is required. The use by date is 2020, where the best alkalines available today risk leakage by 2015 or earlier. I use NiMH batteries whenever possible, but sometimes a device demands 1.5v and not 1.2, or NiMH batteries lose much their charge after several months of storage.
sanyo eneloop will holds at least 80% of their charge after 12 months.
