Car Insurance Who to Go with under 30

I have just purchased an ex-demo Civic and for the 1st time im getting insurance not licked to my parents?

Previously i was with Coles but because im 26 they want to charge me like $1500 for full comprehensive - i have had claims but non where i was liable so it never cost coles a $ just the other insurance companies

Any suggestions whos good?

    Try AAMI surprisingly I got a quote from them that was cheaper than dodo, budget direct, coles etc..

    Every insurer is different.

    I've had an insurer that would not insure me for a 2012 V6 commodore on LPG because I am under 30.

    I'm now 24 and insured for a 2014 SS V8 Commodore.

    You have to shop around to get the best deal. I shop around every year.

    You will have to get your No Claim Discount up to get decent discounts.

    With coles, got charged ~$800 for comprehensive as a 27 year old. I doubt it's just your age.

    Calm down champ i said ive never been on my own policy meaning i dont have an discounts for previous years of no claims

        coles the guy was like $2110 and it turns out he was bad at English so they called me and said it was $211 on top of my original cost which was like 400
