I'm not fussy - just want a reasonable rowing machine which will work at home.
Would really like to get one for under $450 - would be willing to get a 2nd hand one.
Am a bit nervous about this cheap no name brand one from Aldi's / cheap imports.
Not much has come up on Ebay - anyone have any ideas??

thanks for the tip - at 110kg will one of those cheaper ones hold me?
Sure will, I was at 106kg when I got mine. I'm also 6 foot 3.
The best rowing machines that work well use air resistance; Concept or Johnson. These you will find in any gym across Australia. But it is unlikely you'll find one for $450 second-hand. For home use, I bought a second-hand spin wheel resistance machine cheap from ebay and it does the job - similar to this one http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Proform-Rower-/260628107153?cmd=ViewI…
