Had the worst experience with Tiger recently. Multiple delays adding up to 9 hours sitting around in an airport on a 4 day weekend between Brisbane and Sydney. The saving of money vs time lost didn't add up. Never again!
Happened to me recently flying Qantas Melb-Syd where I had to reschedule to the next day! Issues can happen with any airline unfortunately.
