  • dont u think its "too mysterious" not knowing range of brands that's possible?

  • That may be a bargain to someone - maybe me if you are game to show it!

I've bought the mystery thing from 1saleaday three times before, it's always junk. Don't waste your money.

    • thanks for the input!

hmm weird i put in 3x mystery pack and shipping went down to 0$.
i checked out and received confirmation email and still says 0$.

it didnt ask for my credit card info either

    • same looks like a bug

      • Maybe they're hoping to get more people to take the crap that's left off their hands :-)

      • The description page mentions nothing of shipping fees, only that they want to get rid of trash; the shipping fee for 1x and 2x is possibly a bug.

    • I'm plussing the deal assuming I get 3 items for free with free shipping. The order seemed to go through…

  • This is basically a competition; no bargain here.

What made you think this is a competition??

      • Because I don't see much of a practical difference between this "giveaway" and a lucky dip with a $5 entry fee.

      Competition??

    • Competitions are fun. This is neither a bargain nor competition.

      • +3

        .. or a lucky dip :)

        • +2

How isn't this a lucky dip, then? :)

You pay $5, a prize is then selected at random from 1Saleaday's set of mystery objects and given to you, and depending on your luck what you receive may or may not be worth the $5 you paid to take part. Just because 1Saleaday is advertising this as a "giveaway" doesn't mean this promotion doesn't resemble a lucky dip in practice.

Also, I find it funny that I'm being negged to oblivion here when previously I made the exact same comment for another one of these "mystery giveaways" and quite a few people agreed with me and the deal was voted off — just goes to show how much of a "lucky dip" OzBargain is at times. :P

  • $5 for a screen protector would suck, even more if its for an iphone I dont have. Therefore this is a gamble. I can only consider a good deal if I can judge what I am going to get first.
