  • How do I hook this up to a speaker? I got a home theatre as well as a sound bar, wants to sing karaoke from youtube playing on TV

    • You can attach the wireless receiver with ur home theatre.

    • I am not sure how you can plug the wireless receiver with your home theatre and get the home theatre play both your voice and youtube at the same time. Maybe your home theatre has a mic input so you can sing while your tv is plugged into it.

For my setup, I use mixer to plug the receiver and computer, the mixer will connect to my home theatre.

      • My Tv is currently plug to the soundbar, leaving the home theatre free for the microphone. I bought the Thomson K6 Portable Bluetooth Karaoke Speaker but the sound coming out of it is too tiny compare to the sound bar, just need to get the microphone volume up so I can hear my voice when singing.

        • Looks like the Thomson K6 does not have a powerful speaker and does not have a line out to go to your home theatre.

I use one of this http://au.yamaha.com/en/products/proaudio/mixers/powered-mix…

My Wireless mic receiver and computer plugs to this. Mixer line out goes to my home theatre. We sing also using Youtube.

That being said, I think you can get the wireless mic and plug to your home theatre. You might want to check if cable will go to your home theatre.

        • @naira: Thanks, may go to JB and ask the sales guy.

    "Two…. Two"

  • Note: This is two channels of microphones through ONE channel output - you won't be able to control the individual gains of either microphone.

    • Would this be better then?

My experience with no name wireless mics is that they can be very iffy. I bought a cheap set that constantly dropped out.

If your budget can stretch it go to a music shop and see what they've got eg Shure. Or even the ones at Jaycar would be better.

I have an Ashton set (about $300) that I got from a music shop and it hasn't missed a beat. If I had the money I would've got the Shure ($400+).

Just speaking speaking from my experience.

        • $300 only for the mics? Seem like quite expensive.

        • @stargalaxy:

$300 for a handheld mic, a headset mic and the base unit.

    • That's a very good point.

    • Refurb..
Careful, you need to get the right version for your area…
