I'm interested in buying a midi keyboard (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/MIDI_keyboard) which has USB connection to play and record my playing on my laptop. I don't know where I can find one with a reasonable price.
Good USB midi keyboards

http://www.allansmusic.com.au/prodcat/Music_Technology/Compu…i would recommend m-audio 49. i bought it from overseas from bhphotovideo.com when oz dollars was strong.
I also reckon m-audio keyboards are good. Should I invest in a weighted keyboard?
I can do one for about $65…but it's a 'roll-up' keyboard (I'm not joking either)
I recommend this one: http://www.allansmusic.com.au/prod/132608/M-Audio_KeyRig_49_… . A good investment for starters (I'm sorry if you are experienced). It's got some good reviews from youtube.
Akai mpk49 and I suggest buying from the US they are considerably cheaper even with the shipping costs + conversion.
I'm also interested in buying one. My budget is $200-$500.
