Hi All
I have regularly been using a freight forwarding / consolidation service in the US for a number of years without any issues from retailers or the forwarding service.
I was stunned last night when going through the Amazon checkout process to find that Amazon would not ship half the items in my cart to my freight forwarder address.
It looks like they are now assuming that items going to a freight forwarder are going to be exported from the US and so any items tagged not for export (to any country, not just Australia?) are unable to be shipped to known freight forwarding addresses.
This was very disappointing ! Has anyone else come accross this yet …. Or importantly, has anyone found a workaround?
Cheers
Wazza
Use a different freight forwarder. I think you'd find US to Oz will still work for you because it's a home address.
