I tried to find these at my local bunnings, but they were straight outta crompton
what do you use a 6w light bulb for?
The same thing you'd use a 60w incandescent bulb for.
will it light a whole room? i saw heaps of 4w bayonet ones at masters. i didn't think 4w would put out that much light
I think you would be pleasantly surprised. If you have 100w incandescent bulbs in the room you'll probably want 10w ones but LED lights put out an amazing amount of light for the power usage. Nothing like the other rubbish energy saving bulbs. They don't need to warm up either - you get instant light the same as an incandescent.
@grumpybum: This 6W bulb (480 lm) is roughly an old 40W globe. A 4W LED will be even dimmer obviously.
Closets, walk in robe, outside lights.
I will go to my nearest Bunnings and try price match these :P
