So Paypal's rates suck and we have a bit of Yen built up in a Paypal account and would like to get a hold of it in AUD or be able to spend it in Australia without being ripped.
Does anyone know of a way? Or do we just have to accept it?
Thanks

No probs ;)
No way. Alternatively have your money in a Belize bank account.
If it's a large amount and you have a trusted friend with a Japanese bank account I suppose you could send the yen to their bank account and get them to send it to you via transferwise (you'd lose 1% against the interbank rate). For small amounts it's probably not worth wasting a friend's time.
It's around $3000 I think. Worth it?
Yeah. If you have a close friend willing to go through the transferwise registration/verification process.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha -is there a way not to get shafted by paypal?? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaha
brightened up my morning.
thanks Suby
