Yeah, it's too good to be true. 100% cotton so you know it's great quality.

  • +3

It washes and irons itself right?

    • +4

I mean, you're saving $1000. They probably removed the free washing machine and iron to get it down to this price.

    • +6

It washes and irons itself right?

It comes with a slave to do that for you.

      • +4

The only stud I see is this guy who just saved over a grand on a new shirt. Hoah!

This shirt was handmade by an old craftsman in the mountains of Italy. He raised ta special breed of sheep said to be of finer quality than Australian merino. He then spun the wool meticulously to produce the fabric which he then cut and sewed to make this shirt.

    • +3

and he did all that just to have his shirt sold for 50% off

A classic design with a signature twist

They paid one company that decides what's in fashion for the season. Every other luxury clothing brand also pays the same company. That company designs everything for all brands from premium items like this to the cheap tat in the outlet stores.

  • This "Rockstar Shirt" is only 47% off but is more my taste …. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Short-Sleeve-Tshirs-For-Mens…

Now all I need to do is find a Rockstud to put in it.

  • I suspect these may soon appear on the shelves of Ye Olde Reject Shoppe at Cessnock.

  • If you've got enough money to blow on a shirt like this, what the hell are you doing on OzBargain?

    It's a 100% cotton shirt, bottom line.

    • Upfront, i dont have enough $$ to waste on a shirt like this BUT if i did I would still be here on Ozbargain. Just because you are rich doesn't mean you dont like a bargain.

    Thank you OP!!!
I bought my first Valentino shirt 6 years ago with my Christmas bonus. It didn't have nearly as many studs as this, but was still amazing to wear. The psychological effect to boost confidence is absolutely real. I particularly enjoyed walking passed homeless and granting them the privilege of stroking the shirt (after I explained I had no money to help them, due to the shirt). Had to throw it out after one use though because no one wears something more than once.
Very happy to save so much on my next Valentino collection!

  • The $1K you save on the shirt goes a long way towards the $1700 price on the matching jeans! maybe wear this with the $29 PU Leather shoes from YD in the other post!

  • +1

As compelling as the discount is, I'm just not sure I believe the marketing material.

How can it be 100% cotton if it has buttons and studs? Surely at best it's 98% cotton, with the balance being plastics and miscellaneous materials introduced during the production of the shirt.

I might hold off buying it until they've done some spectral analysis to confirm. How stupid would I look if I told people my $1225 shirt wasn't technically 100% cotton?

  • Need to confirm that the buttons do themselves before i buy this.

  • Probably last seasons fashion and that's why it's discounted.
I went in a Givenchy store a few weeks ago looking at shoes.
    Normal rubber thongs were $400.

    • Yet you came back to Ozbargain, touché. Well played sir

      • I should say my wife took me in to look at shoes.
