    They are not designed for running 24/7 and are not suitable for use in a NAS.

      I been using normal hard drives in NAS, many now turns them off at times to save power, given I use it JOBD to fill backups, it would be retired to storage well before warranty expires, just this thing would be over kill in terms of performance
