I'm looking for a queen sized bed base with drawers that takes up minimal space (where mattress sits on top of it instead of inside). Max length: 2040 (same as mattres). No headboard, just the base. Sleepmaker makes these. Do they normally do good Boxing Day sales? Planning on buying before the end of the year.

Not that I have found. They have a bed base with drawers (BRIMNES) but the mattress sits inside it, pushing out the length to 2080.
Forty winks do these, you can get a custom bedhead, which i assume would mean you can also get them with no bed head.
Ikea does lots of these I think.
