Apparently the glass one could get a little slippery so just have to watch out for that. I went for the stainless one as it can't get break basically.
Prefer to buy the Kenwood Chef Premier for triple the power and half the price. Plus having five years warranty is a bonus
Kitchenaid actually has 5 year warranty for domestic use. It would be 1 year warranty if commercial use. (According to my warranty book)
But yes, I heard some good things about breville mixer

Have an upvote. I think since Kitchenaid has brought out the new Mini Mixer model, that the RRP for all the other mixers has slightly increased so they arent playing one off against the other. I guess this means that deals with Kitchenaid mixers on sale for $500-550 (as per some previous deals) wont be as common in future, or thats what im telling myself.
I actually bought the KSM156 for $559.20 instead though, just to get the flex beater (which I know you can get for $50 anyway) and I dont think the small bowl will be much use. Glass vs stainless doesnt really bother me, other than stainless is sturdier but glass can be microwaved or sealed with a special lid in the fridge.
