Wow $379 is a great price. Have a trip overseas in a few weeks so keen to get them soon so I can claim TRS ;)
Check out the Sony MDR-1000x - better sound, better noise cancelling and better functionality - but they cost a bit more, so it's a case of getting what you paid for.
There is currently a great deal on the Sony H.ear On Wireless (aka MDR-100ABN), that's within your budget. They are also available in different colours. They too sound better than the Bose and the noise cancelling is roughly on par with the Q35 but not quite as good as the 1000x. I've been using high-end bluetooth headphones for years now, and I believe this is the best value deal at the moment.
You've gotta wait mate! See if you can research how to set up an OzBargain alert (I don't know how).
I was lucky to pick up a pair for $379 from an OzBargin deal. Myer occasionally has 20% sales, look out for these.
